Winter Diversions
Jessie gets bored staying around the house, so we try to get her out everyday to expend a little of her energy and have some fun. That can be a challenge in the winter when the playground and yard are iced or snowed over. The carousel is a routine favorite and last week we discovered the Children's Museum. It is so awesome. It is geared for kids around 1.5 to 4 years old and made up of lots of little rooms, so it never seems too crazy with the kids dispersed so much. There is a giant art room, a dinosaur dig, a tree fort, bubble making, slides, tunnels, construction zone, stage with costumes and face paint, and more. Jessie loved it. It will become a weekly wintertime stop I predict.
