Last Saturday we had a fiesta engagement party for Billy and Tia. We've finally recovered enough to do a blog post about it. Everyone seemed to have a great time and fortunately they all came hungry, so we didn't have all that much food left over. It was a nice prelude to the upcoming wedding and we got to meet a lot of their friends. Another little girl was there and she and Jessie played wonderfully together. Jessie made it to about 10:00 and then Boppie generously offered to take her back to her place for a sleepover. Being suddenly childless caused us to get a bit too crazy though. We're too old to try to party like that these days.
I have been on standby to watch my friend Heather's daughter, Hanna, when she goes into labor. Last Wednesday morning I got the call and Jessie and I headed up to Big Fork (near Kalispell) to play with Hanna while Mommy and Daddy were at the hospital. In the rush to get ready, I forgot the camera. Big mistake because Jessie and Hanna were so cute playing together. They are exactly 2 months apart and they get along very well. It was a big potty-thon - as soon as one of them said she had go, the other did too. Good thing Hanna has 2 potties because they was a lot of simultaneous peeing! No accidents at all!
