For the last week or so, Jessie has majorly regressed in the potty training department. She was doing awesome, with maybe 2-3 accidents a week. Recently, we've been lucky if she has gone to the potty once a day. Quite messy and very frustrating to say the least. In an attempt to remedy the situation, we hit up Target today in quest of potty poster making supplies. Jessie picked out some yellow posterboard, some stickers, and foam shapes. After her nap we created the potty poster and hung it up in her room. Hopefully some rewards will entice her to start using the potty again.
This week we started enjoying the fruits of our labor. Greg and I split the first ripe strawberry. There was only one, but many more are ripening. Kindof silly to split a strawberry, but we thought it was the only fair thing to do, and Jessie had already gone to bed, so at least we didn't have to share with her. It was soooo good. Night and day between store bought strawberries. Tonight we had stir-fry with our sugar snap peas, green onions, and spinach. Dinner salads should begin very soon. I love the summer! We also got a whole pig delivered Thursday from a farm up in the Flathead. Yummy.
Well somehow I managed to erase all the pictures Dad took of Billy and Tia's wedding from our computer, so the actual wedding days will have to wait a bit longer. On Dad's last day in Missoula we went to the children's museum. Grandpa taught Jessie how to be a master fort and castle lego builder during his visit too. She has got stacking them down now and loves playing with them.
Here are a couple of recent photos of Jessie enjoying her pool and tent in the backyard. She loves playing outside and mostly content to drag the hose around watering things and drinking from it and playing with her sidewalk chalk. Throw in a blueberry yogurt popsicle and she's in heaven.
