Our camera, which has been on it's last leg now for at least 6 months, is now officially dead. The reason? We can't find the battery charger for it. We obviously needed a new one anyway, since it won't shoot video or manual mode anymore and it occasionally shoots in weird pinkish plaid tones. But, as we handle most things in our lives these days, we have waited until the situation is dire and are now officially without a way to take pictures. And so we've begun shopping and the new point and shoots are sweet and they are all coming out either now or soon.
Mom and I took Jessie to the fair on Saturday night. She throughly enjoyed seeing all the animals, and there were lots of 'oh!'s whenever she came spied something new. After the petting zoo, we ate some nutritious fair food, then went to look at the little kid's rides. Jessie was very sure she wanted to ride them and that she was okay with going by herself. She loved them! We could see her talking the whole time she was riding and just smiling big. Her first words when I went to get her after her first ride were, "Ride again!"
